 Safety Notes – August 27th

by Rick Nelson
ISB Safety Manager
rickn@isb.ac.th

A couple quick reminders to all community members.

  • Thanks to everyone for wearing your ISB ID and lanyards when on campus.  Please remember to have your ID and lanyard on and ready to show our security guards at our campus entrance areas.  Also, please remember to wear the IDs/Lanyards throughout your time on campus.  Visitors or anyone who forgets their ID should go to the security guard desk in front of the Administration building.
  • All vehicles coming to ISB from the main Nichada Thani gate must get into the ISB Queue Line (right lane of the two lanes coming towards the school).  Do not travel in the left lane and then attempt to merge in last second.  Remember – this includes golf carts!  This is causing major frustrations for those vehicles who are patiently following the guidelines that have been set up by Nichada Thani.

Lightning Alarm System

by Rick NELSON
ISB Safety Manager
rickn@isb.ac.th

ISB has installed blue flashing strobe lights that go off if lightning has been detected in the area.  If you see any of these lights flashing move immediately into a building or covered breezeway.  All pools, athletic fields and open spaces will be cleared of all people.  No one should return to open spaces until the blue strobe lights stop flashing (approximately 10 minutes after the last lightning detection).

Parent Contact Information

If you are a new ISB parent and did not have your permanent address or permanent contact information when you were processed in our Admissions Office, please update your information by logging into the Parent Portal section of our website and inputting your updated contact information in the Family Information section. If you are a returning ISB parent and have any changes in your contact information, we ask that you follow either procedure that we have outlined above.
