New Student Orientation
What a wonderful day we had for the ambassador training and new student orientation.
We would like to give a big “THANK YOU!” to all the ambassadors for their time and commitment to all the new students at ISB. We would also like to give a very warm welcome to our new students and their families and thank them for coming to new student orientation and welcome wai.
Early in the morning the student ambassadors from grade 7-8 had training with the school counselors. During this time they learned what makes a great ambassador and how they can continue their role throughout the year. Our student ambassadors learned how to welcome their new students and families, how to be supportive and warm to new students and to take responsibility for the new members of our school community.
We were out front at the panther bright and early to welcome all the new students and their families to help them sign in and make their way to the Chevron Theater. At the Chevron Theater our Middle School Principal, Mr. Dennis Harter gave all the families a warm welcome and introduced the middle school team. The new students then accompanied the ambassadors and counselors to participate in activities to help them make new friends, become familiar with ISB routines and get ready for their first day of school.
We hope the student found the day fun, informative and helpful. We look forward to getting to know all our students and families over the course of the school year.
We were also pleased to welcome back as new middle schoolers all our returning students. It was a pleasure to see how many came to the afternoon session and to see their enthusiasm for their transition to middle school. Once again our school ambassadors assisted in answering their many questions and welcoming them to the middle school.

Upcoming Event – New Student Getaway
Saturday 22nd August 8am – approx 5pm
We will be visiting the Sampran Riverside Resort.
If you are a new student or Ambassador please return a permission form.
You need to wear your school uniform for this trip. Ambassadors can wear their T shirts.
Please feel free to bring some pocket money, camera and a positive attitude as we are representing ISB. This will be a great way of making friends and learning more about the beautiful country of Thailand.
