Nepal Relief

Following the massive earthquake in Nepal last Sunday, many people have asked how they can help. At ISB we have a long standing relationship with the Moonlight School, a non profit elementary school for poor children in Kathmandu founded by a Nepalese man who has been the service provider for our GCW Nepal trip for many years. The Moonlight Foundation has a sister organization, Backpacker Medics (https://backpackermedics.com/) which operates medical clinics in Nepal and also supports the Moonlight Foundation. They are currently on the ground providing medical assistance to people in Kathmandu.

There are many worthwhile relief agencies to donate to; however, at ISB we have selected the Backpacker Medics.  We encourage you to donate directly to them online at online donation for immediate and direct support to Backpacker Medics.  Or, you can go to the ISB cashier and deposit your money into the Moonlight Club account, #999.24826.

During the week of May 11-15, the HS Moonlight Club will be soliciting donations and holding fundraisers for the Moonlight Foundation and Backpacker Medics in coordination with other clubs who wish to support the relief effort. For more information, please contact Bill Schoonover at bills@isb.ac.th
