Early Dismissal on Tuesday

Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 28.  School buses will leave at 1:15pm.  Early Dismissal Days provide a common time for staff in all three divisions to meet, collaborate, and further their professional development.

 

 

Middle School Art Exhibit

You are cordially invited to visit the Middle School Art Exhibit being held in the Chevron Theatre Foyer from Wednesday, 29 April – Thursday, 14 May.

The creative work of middle school artists features dramatic graphite drawings and Ghana-inspired charcoal work, the brand identities of budding graphic designers and Anansi the Spider paintings, large and small.  Bring your smartphone, iPad or tablet to access the augmented reality portion of the exhibit!

Leaving ISB End of This Semester?

If you are leaving or possibly leaving ISB before, or end of this semester, please contact Khun Fon in the MS Office at supanniy@isb.ac.th – she will send you the ISB Withdraw Form that needs to be completed in order for her to get your child’s school records ready for his/her next school.

 

Repeat Announcement:  MAP Testing

All MS students will be completing their Spring MAP (Measure of Academic Potential) in Reading and Mathematics sometime between Tuesday, April 21 and Friday, May 8th after the Songkran break, in their Humanities and Math classes.  There is nothing for students to prepare and results of the testing will be sent to parents towards the end of May.  If you would like to find out more about MAP standardized testing please visit NWEA.

Planning on being in Bangkok June or July?  Looking for something for your child(ren) to do?  Then this is the year to join us for ISB’s exciting and enriching Summer School Program!  Once again students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 will be learning in an environment that is nurturing, academically challenging, and socially engaging.  ISB’s highly qualified teachers are inspired professionals dedicated to creating the best possible learning experiences.  New ideas, new curriculum and new friends await each student.

ISB accepts announcements from ISB families and ISB staff for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.

What to include in the announcement

• An image or photo (optional)

tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.

maurilib@isb.ac.th is for Middle School (MS) announcements of interest to MS families.

vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families.

Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Marketing Director for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.

Frequency of eNewsletter mailings

The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.

The ES, MS, and HS eNewsletters are sent out on Fridays. Announcements for potential publication in these newsletters must be received by noon on Fridays.
