AMIS MS Honor Music Festival Participants

Dear MS Parents,

Please help us congratulate the following MS music students who will be participating in the upcoming AMIS (Association for Music in International Schools) honor music festivals in the second semester.

The students all worked hard to prepare for challenging audition materials and passed a very competitive audition.

We’d also like to thank all our other students who auditioned for the festivals. We are very proud of their determination, hard work, and the great improvements and learning that happened throughout the audition process.

Best regards,

Cafeteria News…Did You Know…?

As has become tradition at Epicure, a Thanksgiving Feast will be served in the HS/MS Cafeteria on Thursday Nov. 27 starting at 10am.  Thanksgiving is a time of Community, Collaboration, Friendship, Family, Blessings and Remembrance.  Ideally it should be a day like any other in terms of our Gratitude, however, it is special for us to dedicate a day for extra reflection upon these bounties. The delectable menu will include: Carved Roast Turkey, Honey Glazed Ham, Homemade Herb Stuffing, Giblets Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli & Carrot Saute and Pumpkin Pie, all for only 160 B.  Should your child wish to partake in this celebration on Thursday, please ensure that their campus cards are topped up so as not to disappoint.  Parents from across campus are also welcome to join in for this delightful lunch!  Enjoy.

Repeat Announcement:  Leaving ISB End of This Semester?

If you are leaving or possibly leaving ISB before, or end of this semester, please contact Khun Fon in the MS Office at supanniy@isb.ac.th – she will send you the ISB Withdraw Form that needs to be completed in order for her to get your child’s school records ready for his/her next school.

Repeat Announcement:  Applications to Boarding or Summer Programs

If your child is considering an application to a boarding or summer school, please click here to access a form that explains the procedures in our middle school to support this process.  Please review both pages of the form with your student.  This form also serves as a cover sheet for each application the student submits.

For example, if the student submits three boarding school applications, three separate copies of the form must be completed.  Most applications will require references or evaluations from teachers.  Students must give teachers at least two weeks to complete an evaluation or reference and should first approach their teachers in person with the request.  Students are also responsible for following up with teachers to ensure that deadlines have been met and all evaluations and letters are delivered to the counseling office on time.  Please see your school counselor if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you!
