Upcoming MS Theatre Sports on November 13th…

The annual Middle School Theatre Sports Competition is coming up on November 13, at 3pm in the CCT.  The students have been working extremely hard since the start of the year to learn all the games and to develop the improvisation skills required to create theatre “on the spot”.  This is no easy task.  It will be a competition to see which team will take home the Theatre Sports trophy for 2014.

Our theme this year: “Up, Up, and Away”, was chosen to represent risk taking, reaching new heights and aiming high.  Please come along and support our brave middle schoolers as they play on stage to entertain you.

Tickets will be on sale from November 5 in the cafeteria at breaks and at lunch at a cost of 50 THB. Proceeds will go towards Operation Smile.

Leaving ISB End of This Semester?

If you are leaving or possibly leaving ISB before, or end of this semester, please contact Khun Fon in the MS Office at supanniy@isb.ac.th – she will send you the ISB Withdraw Form that needs to be completed in order for her to get your child’s school records ready for his/her next school.

Repeat Announcement:  Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) scores were mailed home recently.  If you have not received your child’s scores, please contact Khun Arisa in the MS Office at arisap@isb.ac.th

Repeat Announcement:  Applications to Boarding or Summer Programs

If your child is considering an application to a boarding or summer school, please click here to access a form that explains the procedures in our middle school to support this process.  Please review both pages of the form with your student.  This form also serves as a cover sheet for each application the student submits.

For example, if the student submits three boarding school applications, three separate copies of the form must be completed.  Most applications will require references or evaluations from teachers.  Students must give teachers at least two weeks to complete an evaluation or reference and should first approach their teachers in person with the request.  Students are also responsible for following up with teachers to ensure that deadlines have been met and all evaluations and letters are delivered to the counseling office on time.  Please see your school counselor if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you!
