Grade 12: The next two weeks are very busy in the counseling office. We’re excited to host a large number of universities and fairs coming to ISB. As a reminder, Seniors need to attend any visit for a university to which they are applying.
The 3rd Senior Seminar is this week where Seniors be reminded of upcoming deadlines and given an opportunity to complete a self-assessment on their progress so far this year.
Any Senior applying to a university with an October 15 application deadline must turn in the transcript request form this week.
Grade 11: A reminder, if not already done so, that Juniors need to complete and submit the, “What Are You Looking For In a College?” worksheet that they received in the last Junior Seminar.
There will be four college fairs at ISB next week with close to 80 college/university representatives attending. Next week is a great opportunity to meet with a variety of representatives and learn about many different schools.
PSAT for all Juniors on October 15. Rajendra Gym. The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT and is also a standardized test that ISB uses for all Grade 11 students.

Grade 10: The first Sophomore Seminar will be on Wednesday and Thursday, October 8/9. Students will explore their personal strengths and how they relate to success in school and life.
All the sophomores have a new counselor this year; that counselor will work with each student and his/her family for the next three years. Please encourage your son or daughter to stop by and say hello to their counselor. We’re easy to talk to!
