ES Parent Teacher Conferences Oct. 2-3, 2014

We are very much looking forward to seeing you at Parent conferences on Thursday and Friday of next week.  The online scheduler, Pick-a-Time opened on Tuesday morning. Details of how you make appointments were sent home with students on Monday of this week.

Some points of clarification for making appointments:

  • Conferences with Specialists are 5 mins. Pick-a-time books each appointment within a 30min time block, allowing for flexibility as families travel from room to room. Parents are able to book the SAME 30min time block for all four specialists.
  • If you are planning on visiting the same specialist for more than one of your children, please ensure to make an appointment for EACH child.
  • Making a change to your conference schedule is easy.  You can log on here https://pickatime.com/client?ven=11603340

If your child is in Grades 2-5, you will have received information from their homeroom teacher inviting students to join the conference.  Please note that students in Grades PK-1 students are not involved in conferences for this semester.  Students do not need to wear a uniform on this day.  All students are welcome to attend the Book Fair in the ES library HUB and the ESMPR where supervision will be provided. Online bookings through Pick-a Time will close on Tuesday September 30 at 2pm.

Should you wish to speak with any of our counselors — Ryan Ruhl (PreK), Kate Kersey (KG – Gr. 2) or Doug Williamson (Gr. 3 – 5) — please know they will be available in their offices or you can make an appointment in advance.

Book Fair Returns October 2-3

Please come to the ES BOOK fair in the HUB and the ES MPR!  Top book sellers, Asia Books, Kinokuniya, Scholastic and Books on 53 will be there to liven up your bookshelves!  This fair will be held during the ES conference days from 7:30-3:30.
