Dear ISB Community,
In the days and weeks ahead it is possible that there will be an increase in the size and frequency of political demonstrations as well as outbreaks of violence.
ISB community members are advised to monitor events through the media and exercise caution if in the vicinity of demonstrations. ISB will remain in touch with our various security advisors and communicate by email and SMS when appropriate.
With respect to tonight’s MS Grade 6 & 7 Social (at ISB from 5:00pm to 7:00pm) and the Grade 9/10 Dance at the Richmond Hotel (7:00pm to 10:00pm), parents are advised to pick up their children and avoid the use of taxis.
It is best to avoid areas such as the Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO) on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Government House, Utthayan (Aksa) Road and the Government Complex on Chaengwattana Road. Downtown areas may also witness demonstrations and traffic congestion may occur.
