Security Update 1 April 2014
Shootings occurred on the Chaengwattana Expressway near near Wat Bua Kwan this afternoon with one fatality and three injuries (click here for Bangkok Post article). The gunfire took place following anti government protests at the Government Complex on Chaengwattana Road. It is possible that the coming weeks will see an escalation of violent incidents. We will closely monitor events, stay regularly in touch with our security advisors, liaise with Montri transportation, and communicate when needed with the ISB community.
