Dear ISB Community,
It has just been announced that Muang Thong Thani will be the site of anti government protesters tomorrow. Rice farmers will also be gathering in the Sanam Bin Nam area. Potentially, both Chaeng Wattana and Tiwanon roads could face severe traffic congestion. There is also the potential for violence to break out.
As a consequence, we have made the decision to run an early dismissal schedule for Wednesday 19th February. All activities are cancelled and all buses will depart at 1:15pm. The school day will end at 1:00pm.
Mr Roback will be in touch with information about how this affects Bangkok based GCW trips.
We will continue to monitor events and will be in touch again as needed. As we know, the situation is unpredictable.
