The last of 30 overnight GCW trips (Isaan Muay) departed campus early this morning. We are pleased to confirm that all trips have arrived safely at destinations with little to no logistical issues. GCW Australia did miss an internal flight but other arrangements were quickly made.
Some group leaders may provide updates to parents. This is not an expectation of group leaders as learning outcomes for GCW include students taking on some independence and responsibility away from home, yet in safe settings. For this reason, we ask that you let go a little this week so students can fully immerse themselves in a new culture, habitat, and overall experience. We are able to contact every group and will notify families immediately if needed.
Local trips also began leaving school this morning. We will continue to monitor the political situation to ensure the safety of groups in activities around Bangkok.
