Tomorrow is the culmination of our Under 17 season two sports with BISAC tournaments hosted across Bangkok. ISB will host the U17 Boys and Girls Rugby and Touch Football tournaments from 8.00am till 4.30pm. TRAILL International school will also be hosting the U17 Boys Basketball tournament here at ISB tomorrow and Sunday. Our girls U17 Basketball team will be travelling to ASB in Bangna for their final tournament. We wish all our teams the best as they put all their season’s training into action in these tournaments.
It is with sadness that we had to move IASAS Rugby and Touch to Singapore American School due to the current instability here in Thailand. It was too risky to assume that the current political climate was going to be safe enough for teams to travel here in two weeks time. We are extremely grateful for Mimi Molchan and Kim Criens, Athletic Directors at Singapore American School for picking up this tournament at such late notice and are excited to be co-hosting with them in Singapore. Students who have made teams are reminded that passports and money are due in on Monday.
Parents, please reserve February 12 for the second season sports banquet, which will take place in the Rajendra Gymnasium from 5.30pm. We look forward to celebrating the season and sharing this night with coaches, parents and athletes.
Once again, we wish our U17 teams all the best for this weekends tournaments and hope that many of you can get out to support our teams.
