On behalf of the Filipino community of ISB, we would like to thank everyone who came to donate and buy at the bake sale yesterday. The response was overwhelming and we raised a significant amount, which we will add to the Philippine Relief Fund.
We would also like to remind the community that tomorrow, Friday, November 22 will be the Filipino lunch. Please don’t forget to send some cash with your kids to buy their lunch.
We will start serving at 10:00 am up to 12:30 pm (or until food servings last). Filipino all-time favorites like adobo, pancit and lumpia will be served. We are also making Filipino desserts representative of the different provinces (Cebu, Leyte, Samar, Bicol and Bohol) severely affected by the typhoon and will include bibingka, biko, leche flan, maja. bibingka cassava, and binignit, quite a handful of probably familiar and not so familiar names but be assured, they are all delicious!
Come and enjoy, it’s a lunch date!
