GCW Update

All students received their GCW course placement last week. At this point, requests for changes are not allowed. The Parent Consent/Health Info form (front-back, one page) was distributed to students during lunch. This form must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the initial GCW meetings on Tuesday, 12 November at 1:10pm.
December Examinations

This is a reminder to parents when planning their Winter vacations that HS students are expected to be at school until 11:30am on Friday 20th December. Our Examination period will run from Wednesday 11th December until Wednesday 18th December with Thursday 19th & Friday 20th being used extensively to provide critical feedback for students. Students are unable to sit examinations early so please plan you vacations accordingly.
Grade 10 IB Information Evening – Monday 18th November 6:30pm

This evening will be open to all Grade 10 parents and their sons/daughters to hear about the 3 different paths that our Grade 11 and 12 students take. This will be a general evening about the different IB Course options and will be followed by an IB Course Fair prior to course selections in late March.

This Friday there will be two dynamic performances in the Chevron Theatre 3:15pm and 6:30 pm. The performances are suitable for all ages so bring the entire family along! There will be some creative and stunning student choreography that will surprise you …
A series of new and engaging Dance Photos (Dancers Amongst Us) will be unveiled at 3 pm (preceeding the first show), and there will be light refreshments in the foyer from 6 pm before the second show. The 6:30 performance has an admission – tickets available at the door: 100 THB for adults and 50 THB for students.

Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
What to include in the announcement
• A title for your announcement
• An email contact for further information
Where to submit your announcement

tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.
maurilib@isb.ac.th is for Middle School (MS) announcements of interest to MS families.
vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families.
Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Marketing Director for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.
Frequency of eNewsletter mailings
The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.
