In this era of images it is a welcoming thing to just listen and imagine ….and to let the sounds of 150 live, massed band instruments resonate.
This Saturday ( November 2nd) the popular Massed Band Festival Concert will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chevron Theatre. Over 150 students from 5 schools including Penang, Malaysia, will perform as one band under the direction of U.S. conductor, David Baldock. Local Bangkok International Schools return year after year, and say that this festival is the highlight of their school year playing in a band with full instrumentation.
There will be selected HS musicians showcasing their beloved instruments in the foyer from 1:15 (the doors to the Chevron will be opened at 1:30 pm). Bring friends & family and be early.
