Message from Principal
Philip Bradley
philipb@isb.ac.th
Dear Parents
The pace and intensity of our first ten weeks is certainly demanding on our students and the families that support them! So thank you for all you do to help our students stay balanced and learning. I hope that the October break gives you all time to catch up on a bit of sleep and enjoy some family time – the right mix of the exotic and the peaceful.
See you all back for school on Monday Oct 28th.
Sincerely
Philip Bradley
Global Citizenship Week (GCW) Information
Peter Roback
peterro@isb.ac.th
Over the past 3 weeks, high school students have registered their preferences for Global Citizenship Week (GCW). Assignments are done by time of submission (precisely documented by our servers) and then in order of preference for each student. When a course is filled, we move to next preferences for students who subsequently requested that course.
In rare cases, a course may not have enough numbers to be viable, in which case we honor the time of submission for those students and reassign their next preference. This may have knock on effect on other students. All of this is handled BEFORE we post the courses assigned to students.
After the October holidays, we will be posting the courses assigned to students. Parent permission forms will be distributed, including the name of the course assigned to your child and the cost. These forms are due to the GCW teacher sponsors at the first meeting on November 12th.

Munch & Music Oct 16th
Kerri Fitzgerald
kerrif@isb.ac.th
Munch & music on Oct 16 th was a happy event with lots of class spirit demonstrated and with diverse musical/ performance talent on show. Over thirty clubs sold food and beverages and the Auxi gym was the place to be. An extended lunchtime gave value to the importance of being able to switch off and relax. The Student Council (and SC advisors Sam Laornual & Anthony Sheridan) again deserve lots of credit for putting this together.
