ISB is a Nut-free Campus
As stated on p. 32 of the Parent Student Handbook, ISB is a nut-free campus. We have many students at our school with serious nut allergies. In order to keep them safe, we do not allow any kind of nuts on our campus at any time. This includes the snacks and lunches that you might send to school with your child. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our children safe.

Cafeteria News…Did You Know…?
Michelle Ihrig

…That 100% of the chicken served and consumed across campus is Antibiotic and Hormone Free! Why is this important for you? Because long term exposure to antibiotics, whether taken directly or through another source, actually weaken our immune systems by taking over our bodies’ natural ability to fight infection and bacteria, thus leaving us much more prone to illness. Furthermore, our poultry is 100% certified Halal. ‘In Arabic, the word halal means permitted or lawful. Halal foods are foods that are allowed under Islamic dietary guidelines. Muslims are taught through the Qu’ran that all animals should be treated with respect and well cared for.’ A further belief is that Halal is one of the most humane methods of animal preparation. Now here’s to Chicken! Enjoy.
