A Message from Kelly and Diana
What a joy it has been this week to spend time in classrooms talking with students and teachers about learning. School has now been in session for five weeks and what a wonderful start to the year we’ve had. Our students are enjoying great learning experiences, teachers are focusing in on areas for further growth and we are excited to see such happy, engaged learners in classrooms. Semester 1 Conferences are coming up in the first week of October, but as always, please contact your child’s teacher if you have questions or concerns.
Lost and Found Display
The PTA will be having a display of found items collected in the central Lost and Found on Friday, September 20, 2013 in the MS/HS Cafeteria from 9:00am-1:00pm. Please remind students to look at the display and to retrieve their items. The PTA will try to contact its owners of items with names. Items without names and unclaimed will be donated to charity.

ISB is a Nut-free Campus
As stated on p. 32 of the Parent Student Handbook, ISB is a nut-free campus. We have many students at our school with serious nut allergies. In order to keep them safe, we do not allow any kind of nuts on our campus at any time. This includes the snacks and lunches that you might send to school with your child. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our children safe.
After School Supervision—Rule—Reminder
There have been several ES students found playing and hanging out after school – sometimes waiting for older siblings or parents, or just not going home home after school finishes. Parents – please ensure you know where your child is each afternoon and that maids and nannies understand ISB policy around supervision after school. For safety’s sake, ES students MAY NOT be on campus after school unless supervised by an adult. Thank you for your cooperation.
ES After School Activities
This Semester’s After School Activity program will begin on Monday, September 23rd.
