MS Open House Presentation

Our annual Middle School Open House was a great success with nearly 500 parents representing 66% of our Middle School families in attendance.  Thank you to parents, faculty, and staff for staying late into the evening in order to get to know one another and allow our parents to learn about our MS program and the learning going on in our classrooms this year.

If you were unable to attend, you can find the slides to the opening assembly presentation by Principal Tom Burgess here: ISB MS Open House – September 5, 2013

MS Parents, you are invited to attend a technology information session being offered by MS Technology Learning Coach, Mr. Zambrano.  In this session, Mr. Zambrano will focus on assisting parents who would like more information on how to access systems like Haiku, PowerSchool, Google Calendars, Parent Controls, and other topics – no need to pre-register, just show up!

Interested in Playing Squash?

We are looking to put together a group of Middle School students (boys and girls) who might be interested in playing squash on a Beginner or Intermediate level.  We could adjust the scheduling and intensity according to family/child needs.  Depending on interest, lessons and round robins could occur in Bangkok or in Nichada.  If you are interested, please contact Rula Burrow: landofsmiles13@gmail.com or ring/iMessage 095 547 5750 with the name of your child, grade, skill level, and whether or not you’d be interested in Nichada or Bangkok (if the latter, please also tell me in which part of the city you live).

Cafeteria News…Did You Know…?

…That about 98% of what we serve in the Cafeteria is home baked, hand cut, hand grate, home cooked, and hand prepared by us every morning.  This includes all the items at The Grind, the hamburger buns for BBQ Friday, the baguette bread for the sandwiches, the tortillas for the ES Canteen, the Pineapple Juice for our punch, our slow brewed iced tea, and the home roasted and hand cut meats at the sandwich bar.  We believe that Basic is Best. Food in its basic form carries the most amount of nutrients for our bodies and is optimally digested, hence allowing us the maximum benefits from the foods we eat.  Epicure Catering welcomes a fresh delivery of produce and meats daily, striving to use recipes with only the most natural ingredients.  We look forward to another year of providing well-balanced, nutritious, tasty meals to all of our very eager and hungry customers, mainly your kids. Enjoy.
