Related to absences, please note that if a student misses class but comes to school for other parts of the school day, they are expected to turn in any assignment or take any assessment that was expected in the class(es) missed. This is an expectation. It is the student’s responsibility to find the teacher and submit work or arrange time for an assessment. If the student does not do this, it is likely they will not receive credit for the work and will be assigned to Mandatory Study Hall which takes precedent over all other clubs or activities after school. Please help your child understand their responsibilities when he or she misses class.
