New Students: Counselors will be checking in with all the new students over the next two weeks. New and “old” (veteran) students are encouraged to see their counselor if they have any questions or concerns.
Grade 9: Freshmen Seminars are well under way. This past week the grade nine students met with Mr. Bell (Technology), Ms. Fitzgerald (Activities) and Mr. Vaughan (Athletics).
Grade 10: This year the Sophomore Seminars will explore interests and possible careers associated with those interests. Students will become more familiar with Naviance.
Grade 11: Junior Seminar will focus on the college search. Students will continue working with Naviance and fine tuning their future university plans.

So be sure to support your favorite candidate and exercise your right to vote on polling day Monday, September 2, 2013.
Teams selected & practice begins!
Andy Vaughan
andyv@isb.ac.th
It has been a busy week with Varsity teams finalised early in the week, JV teams on their last day of try outs today (Friday) and under 15 teams also nearing the end of their try outs on Monday. We have had great numbers participating in try outs and our teams look promising as we enter into into our first lot of games next week. You can find out weekly games by visiting https://inside.isb.ac.th/athletics/upcoming-games/ This page displays all our upcoming games for the week for all season one teams.
All athletes selected onto teams have been asked to register online at the Athletics website, which is a gateway for finding out information about what we offer at ISB. We are always looking for ways to improve this site, so please do send me your suggestions!
We have also had a shift in training times and days, which are listed below. Of key importance is the shift of Friday practice to start 15 minutes earlier and end by 3.45pm so that students can catch the Friday bus earlier at 4pm. This used to be a 4.30pm bus and we hope that by moving it forward we can get students home earlier and miss some of the Friday afternoon Traffic.
Practice Schedules:
Monday: Under 11, 13 & 15 and Varsity
Tuesday: Junior Varsity and Varsity
Wednesday: Under 13 & 15 and Varsity
Thursday: Under 11, Junior Varsity and Varsity
Friday: Junior Varsity and Varsity
We look forward to seeing you out on the fields, courts and track!
