Along with our graduating Seniors and leaving students, we are saying goodbye to Dr. Jeff Harper, who has been helping young people here at ISB for 17 years.  Dr. Harper’s knowledge, wisdom, and good humor will be sorely missed by everyone in the high school.  We wish him a grand adventure as the new counselor at the International School of Aberdeen, Scotland.  Best of luck Dr. Harper and thanks for a great run here at ISB!

Transcripts will be available after June 14th.  You can contact Khun Namwan, our registrar, with any requests for transcripts.  You need to request transcripts 10 working days in advance.  Please DO NOT come to the high school office and expect a transcript to be prepared while you wait.  Plan ahead!

Rising 12th graders – The Common Application is being redesigned and the essay questions are all new.  Don’t work on a draft for an old essay that won’t be required on the application that you will send in!  The essays for the next application cycle (Class of 2014) can be found at this link:

Get started on your essay this summer, it will save you lots of grief later!

The counselors will be out of the office from June 8th until August 3rd.  Please don’t assume that they will be checking emails regularly – if you have an urgent need you should contact the High School office at 963-5887 or 963-5883.

Seniors – Congratulations from all of us on your graduation.  You made it! There is a page in The International that truly captures the Class of 2013.

Students in other grades have made comments about the Senior class and how they see the seniors – a very impressive group of young men and women as expressed by their younger classmates. We’d like to wish you all the best during the summer months. Those of you who are moving, we wish you a fond farewell and all the best at your new school; those of you who will be returning, enjoy your summer months, have some interesting adventures and we’ll see you in August.
