Please ensure you have returned all overdue books or paid for lost books at the HUB.
ISB policy dictates that student report cards are withheld until unresolved library accounts are settled.
Crazy Hair Day
All Elementary school students are invited to have some fun and get a little wacky! On Tuesday, June 4, 2013, we will have Crazy Hair Day. Get your ‘do’ done any way you can!
Music Shares continue next week!
The Music Share continues through next Thursday during music times. Students have been preparing their “acts” and we’re looking forward to seeing what they put together! ES music teachers would like to invite parents to attend their students’ performance. The schedule for the Music Share can be found here.
Last day of School Dismissal 11:30 am
School dismissal on June 7th is 11:30 am. Please make sure students are picked up on time. Thank you.
ES Closing Assembly
Our Closing Assembly on the last day of school is a student assembly only and students do not perform. We will not have room to accommodate parents. Thank you for your understanding.

ES ‘Out of Uniform’ Day—June 6 and 7
These two days are ‘Out of uniform’ days in the Elementary School. On PE days, students need to wear their PE uniforms. On their non PE day, students may choose to not wear their ISB uniform.
Appropriate dress guidelines for our ‘Out of Uniform’ days are:
· Pants/slacks/shorts—good condition
· Shirts/blouses—sleeves & midriff required, appropriate logos only
· Skirts/dresses/jumpers—sleeves required, modest length
· Shoes—sneakers, street shoes or leather sandals with back strap
· Hats must be worn all the time when playing outside during recess or during PE classes
Kindergarten Book Sale – June 5, 2013

If you have books for young children, ages 3 to 8, please consider donating them to us. All proceeds from our sale will go to After the Wave organization. Collection boxes are in the kindergarten quad and in front of the ES office.

World Medical Center
This coming Monday 3rd June at 4pm, staff from World Medical Center will present an information session for parents, staff and other members of the school community in the Elementary School MPR. World Medical Center is a brand new hospital on Chaeng Wattana, less than ten minutes drive from ISB and very convenient for Nichada families. Their staff will provide information about the services they currently provide and will answer any questions you may have. The session should last around 30-45 minutes. All are welcome to join.
For Grade 5 Parents
For incoming 6th Grade Students Only, there will be a Welcome Saturday on August 10.
Students please take the opportunity to receive an early welcome from MS administration, counselors and students. We will have a brief presentation followed by guided tours of the Middle School from our Student Ambassadors. Please see attached flyer for more details.

After school Thai class 2013-2014
The schedule is every Monday and Thursday.
The first class starts on Monday, August 19 at 2:15 – 3:00pm at Thai class 110 and 111. The responsible teachers are the same, K. Ying and K. Charuwan.
International Day for New School Year 2013-14 Early Notification for Parents
International Day for 2013-14 falls a little earlier than usual this year, on October 11. Parents may like to consider costume plans during summer vacation trips to ‘home’ countries.

After School Supervision – Expectations
All students are expected to go home at the end of the school day (2:05pm) unless they have a school-sponsored After-School Activity. Students may not be on campus after school unless supervised by an adult.
Summer School
Registration for ISB’s 2013 Summer school is now open! We have elementary classes available for preK students to grade 5 students. An Early Bird special registration is available for all sessions:
Session 1: June 10 – July 5
Session 2: July 8 – July 26
Full Session: June 10 – July 26

Using the Playground
Families are welcome to use the ISB playgrounds after school hours, with supervision. However, during the school day from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, the playgrounds are to be used only by students for scheduled recess. This includes the PK/Kinder playground. After 1:00 PK dismissal, the playground should only be used by Kindergarteners for their scheduled recess. Your cooperation is appreciated.
