Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Test Results Being Mailed Home

All MS students recently completed their Spring MAP test in Reading and Math.  Information about MAP, how to interpret the results, and your child’s individual results will be mailed home late next week.  If you don’t receive them soon after that, please contact the MS Office.

MS Semester 2 Report Cards

Returning Students – Report card will be distributed to students to bring home on the last day of school (exceptions are students with any unpaid bills – report card will be held until all bills are cleared).

Students Leaving ISB – Can pick up their report card and school records from K. Fon in the MS Office on their last day of school.

 

Parent and Student Access to PowerSchool Being Turned Off…

Dear MS Parents and Students,

A reminder that all MS student and parent access to PowerSchool will be turned off from 7:00am on Monday, May 27th to 12:00pm on Friday, June 7th to allow teachers to finalize semester 2 report cards.

Father and Daughter Dance Photos…

Father and Daughter Dance Photos will be available for pickup starting on Monday, June 3rd in the Community Activity Office.

All students are welcome!  Come out and play tennis this Sunday May 26th!

Competitive 10yrs old & under sign in 7:15-7:45am; 11-13yr olds sign in 8:30-9:00am; 14yrs old+ sign in 10:00-10:30am.  Sign up by emailing player’s name, birthdate and contact phone number to advantagetennisthai@gmail.com or just show up.   Entry fee 400 baht paid to the tennis office or accepted on tournament day.  Contact Coach Noop at 087-675-7826 or Coach Ball at 089-770-9181 with any questions. Please see ES e-news for ‘Cubs’ and ‘Mini Cubs’ tournament. If you’re not sure which tournament, please email the coaches.

 

Summer School at ISB

Summer is just around the corner.  It’s a wonderful time for students to improve skills and learn new things with Middle Classes:

  • English/Reading and Writing
  • Math
  • English as an Additional Language
  • Musical Theater Camp

Leaving ISB?

If you are leaving ISB before, or end of this semester, please contact Khun Fon in the MS Office at supanniy@isb.ac.th – she will send you the ISB Withdraw Form that needs to be completed in order for her to get your child’s school records ready for his/her next school.  Or, you can download the form attached here, complete it, and then return to Khun Fon or the Cashier in the Business Office.

Dear Parents of 8th Graders, you are all cordially invited to our 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony being held at 8:00am in the Chevron Theatre on Thursday, June 6th.  Please see the attached document for more information regarding dress code expectations for your 8th grader on that day, and for the permission slip you need to sign for your child to attend the 8th Grade Pool Party at the Nichada Pool later that same morning. eNewsletter Guidelines

ISB eNewsletters provide a valuable avenue for communication within the ISB parent community. For your convenience we have provided you with our eNewsletter guidelines below.

  • Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
  • What to include in the announcement
• A title for your announcement
• An email contact for further information
  • Where to submit your announcement

Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Marketing Director for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.

  • Frequency of eNewsletter mailings
    • The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.
    • The ES, MS, and HS eNewsletters are sent out on Fridays. Announcements for potential publication in these newsletters must be received by noon on Fridays.
