Panther Paws Track and Field is a series of five sessions for ES kids PreK – Grade 5. It will take place Friday evenings starting after Songkran 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 grades 3-5 and 5.00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for PreK – 2 at the ISB track.
PantherPaws Track and Field will include sprint, long distance and hurdles running, long and high jump, different throws as well as agility exercises. The whole event is a volunteer run event, coached by high school athletes and parents. The main focus is on having fun and improving track and field skills, but competitions/races will take place as well within each age group.
The dates for 2013 are: April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17 and May 24.
Registration is online only https://inside.isb.ac.th/cao/2011/08/16/panther-paws-track-and-field/ and it will be open from March 1st until March 16th.
We also want to mention an event organized by our HS kids, which will happen right after the first Panther Paw track and field evening. So please join the Moonrise Run and Walk for Freedom to raise awareness for victims of human trafficking. For questions, please contact their advisor Anthoy Giles (anthonyg@isb.ac.th).
