The next “First Friday with Andy” will take place on Friday 1st March at 9:00am in the new Business Office Conference Room (aka Orange Room).

“First Friday with Andy” is an open forum for parents to meet informally with the Head of School and address any topics of interest or concern. No signing up is necessary – simply come and participate if you are free and interested.

The big day is this week-end and we want to remind everyone that we will be collecting donations for 3 local and worthwhile organizations helping women and girls:  Thanksgiving House, Sherrin House and Tatchadwadee Girls (home).

These are the needed items:

Thanksgiving House — rice, canned food, fish sauce, cooking oil, underwear (teen sizes), towels, toothpaste, washing powder, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, sanitary napkins, floor cleaner and washing liquid,deodorant, floor cleaner, toilet tissue, A4 printer paper, pencils and pens, colored pencils,fax machine

Sherrin House — electric fans and portable air conditioners

Ratchadwadee Girls — white twin flat sheets and vanilla protein powder

Faculty Follies: Don’t miss the show of the year!

Faculty Follies: Don’t miss the show of the year!  Comedy, dance, singing, and even some genuine talent brought to you by your teachers and administrators.  Something for all ages – ES through adult!  Tickets will be on sale from Monday – Friday, March 4 – 8 in the following venues:  7 – 7:30 in the walkway leading up to the ES office, MS and HS lunches in the main cafeteria. 100 baht/ ticket.  All proceeds go to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer.  Performance at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8.

PantherPaws Track and Field: Start of season 2013!

Panther Paws Track and Field is a series of five sessions for ES kids PreK – Grade 5. It will take place Friday evenings starting after Songkran 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 grades 3-5 and 5.00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for PreK – 2 at the ISB track.

PantherPaws Track and Field will include sprint, long distance and hurdles running, long and high jump, different throws as well as agility exercises. The whole event is a volunteer run event, coached by high school athletes and parents. The main focus is on having fun and improving track and field skills, but competitions/races will take place as well within each age group.

The dates for 2013 are: April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17 and May 24.

Registration is online only https://inside.isb.ac.th/cao/2011/08/16/panther-paws-track-and-field/ and it will be open from March 1st until March 16th.

We also want to mention an event organized by our HS kids, which will happen right after the first Panther Paw track and field evening. So please join the Moonrise Run and Walk for Freedom to raise awareness for victims of human trafficking. For questions, please contact their advisor Anthoy Giles (anthonyg@isb.ac.th).
