IFF 2013 was amazing

Many of you came to make this one of the busiest and most fabulous events of the year. A big thank you to the many of you who have dedicated their time, energy and cooking & performance skills; we had a great evening because of you.

This year the IFF kicked of with a beautiful performance of our ISB choir. Anthony Giles, Nicole Sandman and Ashley Jordan brought all the grades together. Thank you so much.

After the choir, the entertainment took of in full swing.  We saw Zumba, Bollywood, Thai dance, belly dance and Capoeira.  A big thank you to Irit, Mary, Jessica. As surprise we had the Flash Mob doing moves from around the world around the hips. Jaleea and Jack, you shake ISB.

Pretty special this year, all performances were filmed and streamed by the Panther Productions team, directed by Chris Bell, sound by Chad Bates. Lasting memories were made by the photographers Kacee Jones and Afi Blackshear

In between the excitement on stage we had a record 19 national and regional booths this year providing the tastes from around the world, almost too many to sample everything! Thank you to the chefs from Germany, Korea, Israel, Indonesia, Japan, Brazil, India, Canada, Australia-New Zealand, Philippines, Scandinavia- Finland, Chinese Community, Mexico, Pakistan, Bolivia- Chile- Colombia, Argentina, Bangladesh, USA and of course Thailand.

Fully charged with food? There was plenty of opportunity to burn it off at some of the 40 mad and crazy games. Thank you to our sponsors and the volunteers from the community games. A special thank you to Chris Tananone.

The fair is not a fair without some prizes. We had a drawing competition contest judged by Helen Lambie-Jones and Trista Meisner, they had a tough job selecting the best of the submissions from our elementary students.

Thank you sponsors, all 76 of you and especially Chevron, Coca Cola, Foremost, Krungsri, Sparsha and Romrawin.

Last but not least – an enormous thank you for the Building and Ground staff from ISB. Without them the IFF would not be possible, thank you for being there all the time with a smile!

We will see you next year at the International Family Fair 2014!
