This Thursday the administration and counsellors hosted a lunchtime get together for all students who have joined ISB since July 2012 (some new students were travelling to IASAS). It was an informal gathering over some good food and an opportunity for students to give feedback regarding their transition to ISB – what was good about the school and what suggestions they would make for improvement. Fresh eyes are always good. There was a wide range in terms of the feedback given but a few patterns were evident. The quality of facilities, range of opportunities and friendly nature of ISB was remarked upon as being noticeably good. Common themes in the suggestions included; too much Homework, cold classrooms and a lack of a student common room – things for us to reflect upon.
