It’s time to pull your running shoes out of the closet and take a few laps around the lake to get ready for the the 7th annual Job & Maria charity fun run on Friday, February 15th.
We run to honor the memories of Job & Maria Berkhout, ISB students, whom we lost in the tsunami of 2004 and to provide an education and brighter future for six Thai children.
Sign up on the day of the event will be open from 3:30 PM at the ISB track. The first race starts at 4:00PM.
There are a few organizational changes in our charity run this year.
Firstly, we listened to the parents of the younger children, that 5 PM is too late for the little ones, so we are starting one hour earlier this year… so don’t be late!
Secondly, we would like to attract more HS students. Because they are already in school for their training in the afternoon and have heaps of studying to do for their exams, we will start this year with the HS Mile. So please, come to join us and support a good cause!
There will be many categories to choose from:
Race 1: High School Mile 1 mile (4 laps)
Race 2: Ages 4 and Under (Parents are welcome to join)) 200 m (1/2 lap)
Race 3: Child and Parent 400 m (1 lap)
Race 4: Grades Kg, 1, & 2 400 m (1 lap)
Race 5: Grades 3, 4, & 5 800 m (2 laps)
Race 6: The Job & Maria Mile – Middle School 1 mile (4 laps)
Race 7: Adults 1 mile (4 laps)
Ribbons for all participants of the race!
Walkers are welcome in all categories!
Ribbons for all participants of Races 2 and 3.
NEW: Medals for first 3 places in races 1, and 4-7.
Students: 200 Baht Adults: 400 Baht.
T-shirts with NEW, 2013 design in sky blue color will be available 1 week prior to the event, in front of ES office, for 250 Baht.

Subway and Twist will be selling sandwiches and fruit juices
