This year’s TRAFFIC JAM event, BREAKING THE BONDS OF SLAVERY, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at International School Bangkok’s Chevron Theatre, will once again focus on human trafficking awareness and raising funds for trafficking victims through The Arts. Guest speakers, Steve Kraus and Gary Lewis, from the UN, will speak about the human trafficking industry and what can be done to help fight slavery. New this year will be a BATTLE OF THE BANDS contest judged by MTV EXIT representatives who will also speak about their anti-trafficking campaign and share one of the new EXIT movie shorts. Tickets (500 baht) include entry, a TRAFFIC JAM t-shirt, and two raffle tickets. All proceeds will go to NGO’s working to fight trafficking around SE Asia.
