- PowerSchool access to students/parents turned off while semester report cards being finalized
Saturday, December 15
- MS Holiday Social at 5:00 – 7:15pm in the MPB
Tuesday, December 18
- MS Drama/Dance Assembly for 6th grade (7th & 8th grade by teacher reservation), 1:00pm in the Cultural Centre Theatre
Thursday, December 20
- MS Olympics – all day
Friday, December 21
- MS Alternate Dress Day
- MS End of Semester Assembly at 7:20am in the Chevron Theatre
- All students dismissed at 11:30am
Student Laptops During the Upcoming Winter Break

Middle School Dance and Drama Assembly on 18th of Dec at 1:00pm
Parents of Middle School Dance and Drama students are invited to attend the Dance Drama Assembly on Dec 18th at 1pm in the Cultural Centre Theatre. If you are going to attend please email Mr. Huxtable, the Middle School Drama Teacher, at garethh@isb.ac.th, or Miss Price The Middle School Dance Teacher, at jaleeap@isb.ac.th can reserve chairs for you in the theatre.

MS Semester 1 Report Cards
ISB will be closed during the week of December 24th to 28th. As a result, report cards for all returning students will not be mailed home until after January 1st. All information will be available on PowerSchool however after 12:00pm on Friday, December 21st.
For all students leaving ISB at the end of this semester, their report card will be available for pickup in the MS Counseling Office after 11:30am on Friday, December 21st, or on their last day of attendance this semester.
Leaving ISB End of This Semester?
If you are leaving ISB end of this semester, please contact Khun Fon in the MS Office at supanniy@isb.ac.th – she will send you paperwork that needs to be completed in order for her to get your child’s school records ready for his/her next school.
Cafeteria News…Did You Know…?
Every holiday and special occasion has a foundation built on traditions. The majority of these traditions are centered around food. Especially when we think of a New Years Eve Celebration, many traditions around the world include food which symbolizes Luck, Prosperity, Health and Good Fortune. A few examples of items on the Menu may be: Pork– it brings good luck and possibly fortune. If you are not a meat eater, any other treat in the shape of a pig may do the same thing; Fish Scales or any dish with fish symbolizes Silver, a precious metal; Bread or Cakes with trinkets baked inside, those who are lucky enough to end up with the trinket are the recipient of good fortune; Eating 12 Grapes at the stroke of midnight is a good luck forecast grape for each month; Eating long, uncut noodles on New Years equals a long life. ISB eNewsletters provide a valuable avenue for communication within the ISB parent community. For your convenience we have provided you with our eNewsletter guidelines below.
- Submitting an announcement for publication ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
- What to include in the announcement • A title for your announcement • An email contact for further information
- Where to submit your announcement
- 4publish@isb.ac.th is for announcements of interest to the entire ISB community
- tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School announcements of interest to ES families
- maurilib@isb.ac.th is for Middle School announcements of interest to MS families
- vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families
Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Marketing Director for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.
- Frequency of eNewsletter mailings
- The ISB eNewsletter that is for the entire community is sent out on Thursdays. Announcements for potential publication in this newsletter must be received by noon on Thursdays.
The ES, MS, and HS eNewsletters are sent out on Fridays. Announcements for potential publication in these newsletters must be received by noon on Fridays.
