Khun Im’s family has received our donation

For those of you who kindly donated money to the family of Khun Im last week, please know that the total funds raised, together with the book of personal messages for Im’s family, were given to Khun Im’s younger brother on Friday,November 30, at Starbucks. His mother who had planned to attend the meeting was absent due to poor health.
Khun Im’s brother, Khun Oat was very touched by our efforts and most appreciative. The gifts will soon be delivered to Im’s mother who resides in northern Thailand, near the Laotian border.
Khun Oat was incredibly moved by how much we all cared for his brother.
The total money raised was 57,800.00 baht.

Bangkok Christmas Classic International Baseball Tourney – December 21st – 23rd

We are proud to be hosting the 1st annual Bangkok Christmas Classic international baseball tournament at ISB. Games will start at 1:00pm on Friday the 21st , go all day Saturday, and conclude around midday Sunday the 23rd. The tourney has two age groups – 10 and Under and 12 and Under – with teams from Vietnam, Singapore, Beijing and Bangkok. Host Bangkok will have an All-Star team in each age group, featuring some of our top players from the BBSA. So come on out to the fields to support your teammates and friends, while enjoying some elite baseball from some of the best youth teams in Asia!

U11 Soccer coaches needed! Practices start this Tuesday Dec. 18 at 2:15pm-3:15pm. Training days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15-3:15pm. Season ends on February 2, 2013 – the BISAC Tournament. If interested please contact Mike Rutherford at miker@isb.ac.th.

Submitting an announcement for publication
ISB accepts announcements from ISB families for potential publication in our eNewsletters. The announcements are generally intended to highlight events that occur at ISB and/or highlight information about ISB.
What to include in the announcement
• A title for your announcement
• An email contact for further information
Where to submit your announcement
4publish@isb.ac.th is for announcements of interest to the entire ISB community.
tinaratr@isb.ac.th is for Elementary School (ES) announcements of interest to ES families.
maurilib@isb.ac.th is for Middle School (MS) announcements of interest to MS families.
vijitl@isb.ac.th is for High School (HS) announcements of interest to HS families.
Your announcement will be submitted to the appropriate Principal and/or to our Marketing Director for review. ISB reserves the right to determine which announcements will and will not be published, and to edit announcements that are approved for publication.
