International Day is Almost Here!
Next Friday, November 30th is ISBs annual International Day. The day starts off with a parade of countries shortly after normal drop off time. The kids will then head to the auditorium for their special International Day assembly. We invite parents to come watch the parade and visit some of our country rooms. A special thank you goes out to all those parents who make this day possible. Your participation means a lot to all of us. For any questions or information on how to help please contact Sharane Sherman (sharanes@yahoo.com) or Cory Fox (mockingbird8@mac.com) or escoord@isb.ac.th
International Day Assembly Nov. 30, 2012
Due to safety regulations, like last year, only students and teachers will be admitted to the Chevron for our assembly at 8:00. No parents will be admitted to the theatre. We will be live streaming the assembly in the ES HUB, Cultural Center and the ESMPR if you would like to watch. Also, please be reminded that International Day is a ‘no letter’ day and that Monday will be a ‘D’ day.
Leaving ISB at the End of the First Semester?
Do you need school records for your child(ren)’s next school? Parents of students who are not returning to ISB after semester 1 need to notify the ES Office, K. Tina (tinaratr@isb.ac.th) and fill out the attached Notice of Withdrawal from ISB Form to enable us to process school records for their next school. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Thanks for your support and for the tremendous ticket sales. It looks as though this show will have a sell out season. Due to legalities, no film can be taken of the performances and you are also reminded there are to be no photos taken during the show (the sound of clicking and the camera light is very distracting to others). There will be photo opportunities at the Red Carpet event for photo taking. A comprehensive array of photos will be available on the school flickr site later and these can be downloaded.
Donate Toys!

Donate toys! Do you need to make some room for new holiday toys? Does your house have one too many legos lying around? Would you like to find a good place to donate gently used toys? The MS School Toy Librarians have the perfect way to help you out! We are asking local families to donate toys to the Green Village Toy Library! For more information see the attached brochure.
Using the Playground
Families are welcome to use the ISB playgrounds after school hours, with supervision. However, during the school day from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, the playgrounds are to be used only by students for scheduled recess. This includes the PK/Kinder playground. After 1:00 PK dismissal, the playground should only be used by Kindergarteners for their scheduled recess. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Lost and Found Display
The PTA will be having a display of found items collected in the central Lost and Found on Friday, November 30, 2012 in the MS/HS Cafeteria from 9:00am-1:00pm. Please remind students to look at the display and to retrieve their items. The PTA will try to contact its owners of items with names and will keep these items on the PTA office for one week. Items without names and unclaimed will be donated to charity.
