We are also working on a draft calendar for the 2014/15 school year and will make this available to the community next semester once we have received input from the Leadership Team, parents, faculty, and classified staff.

Seussical and Theatre Etiquette

by Lynne Andrzejewski
lynne_andrzejewski@yahoo.ca

2012-2013 Booster Club Fine & Performing Arts Coordinator

Seussical – thanks for your support and for the tremendous ticket sales. It looks as though this show will have a sell-out season. Due to legalities, no film can be taken of the performances and you are also reminded there are to be no photos taken during the show (the sound of clicking and the camera light is very distracting to others). There will be photo opportunities at the Red Carpet event for photo taking. A comprehensive array of photos will be available on the school flickr site later and these can be downloaded.

Baseball/softball free clinics

by Kevin Sypolt
ksypolt@gmail.com

Saturday Dec 1st and continuing until Saturday Dec 8th, BBSA is pleased to host our annual Pro Player clinics.  We have 4 players formal and current minor league players who will be running free clinics for all of our players.  There is no need to register for the clinics.  Just show up at scheduled ISB field at the appropriate time for your student.  This is a great opportunity to pick up some great baseball/softball tips from guys who have spent years around the game.  Just bring your fielding glove and you can join in.  The schedule will be posted on our BBSA website early next week – https://inside.isb.ac.th/cao/bbsa/pro-clinic-information/

The UPI will consist of Mickey Weston & his 17th year old son, Bill Curtis, Steve Souza and Zak Wilkerson.  Should be a great team for the BBSA.

Here are some links so you can read about the players who will be leading our clinics:

Mickey Weston – https://upi.org/html/Staff/Weston.html
Bill Curtis – https://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=curtis001wil
Steve Souza – https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=p_pbp&pid=519306
Zak Wilkerson – https://www.msuspartans.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/wilkerson_zak00.html

UPI is a Christian missionary group.  So at the conclusion of each clinic the Pro Clinic players will have a short message to the BBSA kids about Christianity.  Kids are under no obligation to stay for this part of the clinic.  If you would like to know more about the UPI organization, click https://upi.org/ to see their website.

Thanks
