Dress Code Concerns

By: Dennis Harter
We have growing concerns about the length of skirts and shorts worn by girls.  This has become an issue both with the uniform and on alternate dress days.  We have required expectations concerning how our students look when at school.  Please ensure that your daughters’ skirts are no more than 15 cm (6 inches) above the knee.  Short shorts are not allowed even on Alternate Dress Days.
In the coming days, all students will be asked to immediately change, often requiring them to purchase new uniforms at the bookstore, in order to replace out of dress clothing.  Jeans, flip flops, and non-ISB issued sweaters/jackets remain unacceptable attire.
