International Day is coming soon….

by Alison Mcaloon
alisonm@isb.ac.th

Mark your calendars, as Friday, November 30th is International Day in the Elementary School! Students will participate in a parade, an assembly, and many special activities, all in order to honor the wonderful diversity that defines our school.
Students are invited to wear a costume representative of their home country to school that day.
Throughout the week of International Day (November 26-29), students are invited to wear country t-shirts instead of their regular or P.E. uniform shirts. A country t-shirt represents a country or place you have visited with your family.

Thank you,
The International Day Committee

CROSS CULTURE CLUB – CLOTHING DONATIONS

by Andrew Cohen
andrewc@isb.ac.th

CROSS CULTURE CLUB is kindly seeking clothing donations for our visit to Ming De School in Chiang Rai during the October break.  Look for boxes labeled “Cross Culture Club Clothing Drive” in front of the HS/MS library and HS/MS/ES offices.  We will be accepting donations from Monday, October 8 until Friday, October 19.  Please bring clothing suitable for children ages 3-18 (winter clothes especially, as it gets cold in Chiang Rai in the Winter!).  We greatly appreciate your generosity.

The students have been working very hard and wish to make a significant contribution to the school when they visit in October.

Thank you for your help, and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Andrew Cohen

Cross Culture Club Advisor

The PTA is happy to bring “Girl Talk. Period.”  to all girls and their

special needs of females.  Following Aimee’s presentation is a snack
break featuring some of her favorite nutritious “on-the-go” snacks.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Amy Lobner, MSN, CPNP, rounds out the
evening with a discussion on female health. Topics include sleep,
moodiness, and menstrual management. Not sure if this is appropriate
