We have concluded season one try outs for both the Varsity and the JV teams at high school. The teams will be available online over the weekend at: https://inside.isb.ac.th/athletics/hs-athletics/season-one/ You can also find schedules and results at this site.
On this coming Monday all season one athletes will be issued a team uniform. Each athlete is required to pay a 2000 baht deposit for their uniform, which will be returned to them at the conclusion of the season upon receipt of their uniform. This is to aid us in the return of uniforms, which has been a arduous process over the years. Teams which require ISB long sports socks (All soccer teams and some volleyball teams) can purchase these on Tuesday from the Varsity Council immediately after school for 200 baht, it is advisable to buy at least one pair of black and white socks.
Athletes will also have team and individual photos taken next week as follows:
Tuesday: Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer and Volleyball
Wednesday: Junior Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer and Volleyball
Thursday: Varsity & Junior Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country
Please remind your child to take their full uniform to school on that day to ensure they are ready for photos
Finally, this coming week we have an inaugural event for the Varsity Council: “Capture the Chicken”. This event is open to all HS students and should be a great night of fun out on the fields. We look forward to seeing grade level teams competing amongst each other as they battle to become the champions of this inter-class event. This will start from 5.00pm on Friday night at the main fields.
