Head injuries can be incredibly damaging and have long term effects. With the safety of our community in mind, all bicyclists coming on to ISB’s campus must wear a helmet. Administration will be checking for this in the coming weeks and soon guards will be instructed to refuse entry to High School students who do not have a bicycle helment on while riding their bikes. If your child cycles, please ensure they have a helmet to wear when riding. Already, since the rule was put in place 6 months ago, we have had two testimonials of children who experienced accidents that left their helmets damaged and their heads intact. We are thankful that this rule has allowed us to avoid the alternative.
