We encourage healthy behaviors and exercise at ISB. Therefore we recommend students in the Nichada Thani area walk or ride bicycles to school. Students who wish to operate motorized vehicles to come to school, approval must be granted by school administration first. The following rules apply:
- All bicycle riders must wear a helmet.
- For motorcycles and scooters students must have a valid Thai driver’s license to bring their motorcycle onto campus. Thai law dictates that 15 to 17 year olds may only be licensed for scooters 110 cc’s or less. Students who are at least 18 years old may obtain a license to drive motorcycles over 110 cc’s.
- To pursue parking a motorcycle on campus, students should see Khun Vijit or Mr. Dennis Harter in the High School office.
- For golf carts, drivers must own a driver’s license either from Thailand or their home country. Students without a license or with only a learner’s permit will not be allowed to drive a golf cart onto campus.
- To pursue bringing a golf cart on campus, students should see Headmistress Usa Somboon in the Main Office. The original driver’s license must be shown at that time.
