TBALL
What a fantastic U11 t-ball season it has been! The season started and the boys were raring to go. Some came to the team with a lot of baseball experience while others were new to the sport. Game play started early on.  We lost our first game to NIST and learned a lot in the process.  Our second game against Shrewsbury was much better.  The boys batted well and their fielding was much improved from the previous game.  The boys entered their third game strong against Harrow.  They batted and fielded well and beat Harrow convincingly.  On Saturday May 12th they played in the BISAC tournament at NIST.  Each member of the team shone throughout the day with a great fielding play, or a fantastic hit!  It was an exciting and rewarding day and the team finished 5th overall.  The season ended with a parent/teacher versus student game and pizza party. Thanks to all the adults who participated in a fun afternoon.  We could really see where the kids got their talent as their parents lit up the field and bats.   Thanks to all players and their parents for a great season!

Sincerely, Coach Bentley and Coach Boom

Way to go boys!!! Great job on the season! And to you too coaches Boom and Bentley!! Thank you!

TRACK AND FIELD
The season ending tournament will be on May 26th at ISB. The practice/qualifying meet was cancelled Thursday due to rain and has been rescheduled for Monday, 21st at ISB-3-5 PM.
ISB is able to enter just one team in the track meet on the 26th, so it is very important that all athletes show up on Monday to try their best to qualify.

We have requested to enter a 2nd team on the 26th, but BPS has not confirmed that as of yet. More news to come out in this regard from coaches.

Track shirts will be given out on Monday before the practice meet. Students are to keep them to the end of season and then return them to Mr. Ducharme in the ES P.E. office.

Best of luck Panthers!!!! D. Ducharme
