One of the initiatives of Earth Week is to educate our students about healthy lifestyles and organic food. I am happy to inform you that Middle School and High School students will now have the choice to eat healthy organic rice called Jasberry rice (dark purple in color), which will now be served in the MS/HS cafeteria.
Jasberry rice is a new variety of rice, developed using non-GMO techniques, which contains amazing levels of antioxidants and nutrition. It is certified Organic Thailand, gluten-free and wheat-free, good for the environment and fully supports small-scale farmers from the Northeastern region of Thailand. We believe that if our students develop good habits of eating healthy organic food, free of chemicals, they will grow up to be global citizens with a great awareness for the environment while enjoying good health.
