Sign up for the month-long Standards-Based Grading and Reporting (SBG&R) PD course and take your SBG&R to the next level! We will explore issues that arise after you have implemented an SBG&R across your school community, division level, and within your department or grade level. With expert guest facilitator Ken O’Connor, discuss which procedures should be tight (i.e. required by all) and which should be loose (allowing variation by schools/teachers) and aligning our mission/vision statements with our assessment and grading procedures. Participants will have opportunities to work within and across school divisions and examine the practices of educators within specific content areas.

Event Details
This month-long course will take 2-4 hours per week and can be completed at your own pace. Educators who submit a course project and provide feedback to the other participants will receive 12 hours of professional learning credit. Check out the week to week structure here.
