Maker Educator Certificate with Consilience Learning and Mark Barnett – Jan 30 – Feb 2, 2020 – www.canacad.ac.jp/makereducator2020

• The Maker Educator Certificate is a professional development program in which educators explore learning through Making with hands-on activities, case studies, and classroom examples. The Certificate explores the educational theory, practices, and approaches to successfully integrate learning through Making in the classroom.

Cultures of Thinking with Project Zero and Ron Ritchhart – April 11-12, 2020 – www.canacad.ac.jp/RRitchhartatCA

• Through this provocative and practical workshop, participants will learn about what makes a true “culture of thinking”. We will explore what we can do as educators to create this culture and to make thinking visible through rich opportunities for learners.
