Dear Colleagues,
We hope you, your families and colleagues are keeping well despite the significant challenges of the past year. Amy and I are well and have been fortunate to be living in a small village in Spain throughout the lockdown, though, like so many people, we very much miss seeing our family and friends and hope that will soon be possible.
One silver lining for us was the chance to spend the lockdown completing our second book that will be published in September (see below). Now, with our 2 books and our experience of online teaching we are excited to be able to offer educators a full course with us in training to ‘Be Mindful, Teach Mindfully and Teach Mindfulness’.
We would love to have you and some teachers from your school join us for our Autumn course – details are in the attached flyer and here on our website.
Please consider sending the flyer and perhaps this email to any educators in your school who you think might be interested.
If you know of other schools that might want to learn about this opportunity we would be very grateful if you could pass this on to them too. Thank you!
**If you have a group of teachers that want to do the training we can offer you a reduced price. And if you would like to consider an online course tailored to your school’s needs, do let us know more.
Finally, if you have any teachers who are already interested in mindfulness and SEL that might be up for writing a short review for our new book, please do ask them to contact us or send us their emails and we will arrange for them to get a free copy of the book. It is called ‘The Mindful Teacher’s Toolkit: Awareness-based Wellbeing in Schools’ and is packed full of classroom ideas and activities for all ages.
We very much hope that our paths will cross again at some point. Meanwhile, we send you our warm regards and best wishes for the summer holidays and for the next school year.
Kevin & Amy
