We have seen on greeting cards the sentiment, “Adulting is Hard,” and all humor aside, it is! Especially at this moment in time when things are so uncertain and so ever shifting. At this moment it is critically important that we strive to develop ourselves, not just as educators, but as human beings.

MAKER EDUCATOR CERTIFICATE WITH MARK BARNETT

6 hours (over 3 days – 2 hours per day)
This certificate course is a hands-on introductory program for educators, specialists, and leadership of any division in a school or institution that seeks to develop or strengthen Maker Learning. The certificate focuses on participants collaboratively constructing a foundation of the Maker Learning pedagogy, frameworks, and methods for integration in any subject area.

CERTIFICATE ON REDESIGNING FOR DEEPER LEARNING WITH SCOTT MCLEOD
June 28, June 30, and July 2, 2021

This track includes three active, hands-on, 2-hour sessions focused on instructional (re)design for deeper learning, greater student agency, more authentic work, and rich technology infusion. This workshop series is intended for classroom educators at the middle school level. Participants should bring a willingness to rethink classroom instruction. Join us and find out why the 4 Shifts Protocol is sweeping the globe as an instructional redesign tool and walk away with numerous practical strategies for shifting student learning!

This award was created in honor of Dr. K who served as the Executive Director of EARCOS for over two decades. The award provides meaningful assistance to a charitable organization operating within the EARCOS region.

WEEKEND WORKSHOP GRANT REQUEST FOR SY 2021-2022 |
EARCOS provides reimbursement up to $3,500.00, to schools wishing to host an in-person EARCOS Professional Learning Weekend or a maximum of $2,000.00 for a virtual weekend workshop. Any EARCOS member school interested in applying for a grant should complete the online form on or before May 1, 2021.

GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AWARD & SERVICE COMMUNITY GRANT |
This award is presented to a student who embraces the qualities of a global citizen. This student is a proud representative of his/her nation while respectful of the diversity of other nations, has an open mind, is well informed, aware and empathetic, concerned and caring for others encouraging a sense of community and strongly committed to engagement and action to make the world a better place.
