Dear administrators, educators, and service coordinators,
I hope this email finds you well and that the beginning of your academic year is going smoothly. As you may have heard, at the end of the last school year, the International School Bangkok (ISB) is hosting an international service conference this year that will provide experiences for both students and educators!
Student Experience
This is an exceptional opportunity for high school students who wish to connect with peers, continue and expand their own service projects, and learn more about their passions in service learning. This conference – “The Summit” – aims to provide valuable student-led workshops, inspire change, and foster the growth of service within your school communities.
Gathering a diverse group of high school students from international schools around the world, students will also get an opportunity to explore Thailand’s unique cultural landscape through our “Taste of Thailand” experience and cultural expedition in Bangkok.
Our detailed conference schedule will be shared shortly, including a speakers list, descriptions of interactive workshops, and other exciting activities. These activities will be designed to promote a commitment to service, collaboration, connections, and, most importantly, climbing the mountain of service! Otherwise we’d like to emphasize the deadline for registration being the 6th of October, and other details will be shared soon!
The cost for the conference for each student attending is $100 USD, and the cost for chaperones is free of charge at one chaperone per 10 students.

Transportation from the airport to the hotel and back on travel days,

All food throughout the conference (dinner on arrival, lunch and dinner on day one, lunch and dinner on day two, and snacks throughout) and breakfast is included at the hotel.

Educator Experience: EARCOS Weekend Workshop
During this service conference, Aaron Moniz, from Inspire Citizens will join us! For all of you educators passionate about global citizenship and infusing student leadership into your programs, this workshop is for you! The cost would be $100 USD for any educators from schools who are members of the “East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools” (EARCOS), or $200 USD for non-member schools.
Inspired Student Leadership
The aim of this session is to engage with student-facing tools and approaches to enhance student leadership programs.
About this Session
In this workshop, participants will explore Inspire Citizens’ Student Leadership programs and resources, will engage with and experience student leadership tools, will bring these tools back to their own school to enhance existing student leadership programs, and will engage with other educators involved in student leadership programs in the region to discuss how together we might empower the next generation of student leaders.
The Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
1. Explore and experience student leadership tools and resources
2. Develop your toolkit to empower student leaders
3. Level up student leadership programs at their school

Flights and Arrivals
We would like to kick off The Summit with a welcome dinner on Thursday, February 15th. When booking your flights, please ensure your flight arrives in the afternoon on Thursday. If possible, an arrival time before 2 pm would give your group enough time to check in at the hotel and settle in before dinner.
