Yes, you read that right. SENIA is offering two conferences for you during the upcoming school year; one virtual and one live. Virtual Conference: December 3-5 2021
The 2021 SENIA International virtual conference aims to inspire international school teachers, related service providers, and parents around our theme: Learning Ecosystems – Supporting Inclusive School Communities.
Attendees will be provided practical and usable insights they can immediately implement when they head back to their classroom, practice, or family. Schools are encouraged to bring not only their learning support staff, but their general education staff as well who will all benefit from our five strands: Inclusive Practices, Mental Health/Social Emotional Learning, Intensive Needs, Literacy Strategies, and Math Strategies.
This three-day professional development and networking experience was designed based on your feedback. We listened to you and designed our strands around your wants and needs. We also extended the amount of time you have to view the sessions to FOUR months! So take your time, watch them more than once, and enjoy the experience at your own pace.

You will leave the SENIA Virtual Conference inspired by our spoken-word poet, LeDerick Horne, ready to make your school more inclusive after listening to storyteller, Shelley Moore, and motivated to work with and encourage all of your students to learn emotional regulation skills after participating in Michelle Garcia Winner’s meaningful presentation.
These keynotes will start each day in a poignant and stimulating fashion. You’ll then be ready to learn from our other fantastic speakers we’ve lined up for you (more coming soon).

SENIA is launching a new scholarship aimed at providing 10 lucky winners the ability to attend our SENIA International Virtual Conference (Dec 3 – 5, 2021) for free.
The purpose of the SENIA Conference scholarship is to provide an opportunity for individuals who might not be able to afford a SENIA Conference with access to the innovation, resources and supports on offer at each SENIA Conference.
The SENIA Conference Scholarship has very few rules and regulations. You can nominate a friend, colleague, yourself or someone who would benefit from attending the SENIA conference but might not be able to afford to attend. You will need to respond to the question, “Why would you like to attend a SENIA Conference?” in either a written or video format.
Applications are being accepted until October 15, 2021 for this year’s SENIA Conference. So don’t delay and nominate someone today.
