If you’ve been following my work for any amount of time, you’ve seen that I like to write and make videos about education topics and ideas. And while I LOVE doing that, and will continue to do so, I always feel like there’s a limit to how much I can get into with a short video or blog post. I always want to go more in depth with ideas and inspiration, but I realize you only have so much time to watch a video or read an email.
So after lots of thinking, planning, surveying, and fretting, I started my own podcast!
I’ve been wanting to for years but I haven’t done it yet because it’s scary to try new things and put them out into the world.
I mean, what if it isn’t any good?
What if I run out of things to talk about?
What if no one listens?
But I have to say, lately with everything going on in the world, I’m just feeling this conviction to not let ‘what ifs’ and fear dictate my decisions. Life’s too short to not take risks and just go for it sometimes.
So I’ve launched a podcast. Naturally, it’s called “The Epic Classroom Podcast.” Because even though the word EPIC is a little outdated and anyone under the age of 35 roles their eyes if they hear me say it, I still like it. And I explain what I mean by “Epic Classroom” in the first podcast episode.
So I hope you’ll listen and enjoy and maybe even subscribe to it. I’m sure what the pod looks like will shift and change with time, I mean, I am new at this. But let’s start with the first one.
The first episode of The Epic Classroom podcast with Trevor Muir is now available on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.
