• Begin courses
• Learn about course content and expectations
• Begin planning CAS activities for the year (DP only)
September
• Check organization of binders – you will need this knowledge and information for the next two years
• Register for one year course exams
• Register for language B SL examinations – year 2 classes
October
• Confirm details of registration for examinations and make payments
November – January
• Internal assessments may begin this month – remember they count towards your final score! (see IA calendar)
December
• Submit any completed CAS activities forms (DP)
• Semester examinations
January
• Language B orals completed for IB examination
• Theory of Knowledge classes and introduction to Extended Essay (DP)
February
• Internal assessments due to teachers (deadlines specified in IA calendar)
• Extended Essay subject choice and allocation of supervisor (DP)
Global Citizenship Week
March
• Topic and research question for EE confirmed – research begins (DP)
• Begin review of course notes and materials for May examination at home
April
• Continue working hard in all classes
• Review for examinations in class
• Continue research for Extended Essay topic (DP)
